  My mother hired Lowes to re-do her kitchen and living room. New flooring, cabinets, paint, etc. which cost her 30k & then some. Contract stated the job would take up to 4 weeks, which was Oct 7.....we are now approaching 1 week before Christmas and her kitchen is still torn up, the contractor quit halfway through the job, did a half-ass cabinet installation job with no supervision, and now all his work has to be torn out and re-done in order for the flooring to be put in correctly. DO NOT use Lowes for home renovations, they don't care about their customers. Now instead of having a nice new kitchen for Christmas for the price she paid she gets to live out of her basement and bedroom for another several weeks while they make a feeble attempt at cleaning up their mess. PATHETIC example of customer service. Update: As of 12/22 they've now pushed completion date out to 1/12/18....14 weeks for what they said was a 4 week job.
